Join us for an experiment in collective intimacy around the MEATRACK, designed by jtf × ĒTER, at Slokas iela 52, Rīga.

The MEATRACK is a device writ large in space: part furniture, part topography, part dramaturgy. When you move, you move another. When another moves, you are moved.

The installation is on view for 3 days only:

May 29, 2025 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM (invitation only)

May 30, 2025 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

May 31, 2025 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

MEATRACK is an inhabitable installation commissioned by Weekday and first presented in Paris in 2024.
Free entry.

An installation by james taylor-foster and ĒTER (Dagnija Smilga, Niklāvs Paegle), first commissioned by Weekday.

About the work:
The MEATRACK is an inhabitable installation that explores the dynamics of collective intimacy. It invites participants to reflect on the permeability of the self and the ways we are affected—and affect others—through presence, proximity, and touch.

Participatory statement:
To take part in the MEATRACK experience is to affirm:
– I am more than an individual: I am affective and affected
– All expressions of love are shared achievements
– There are no binaries, only multitudes
– The pursuit of love is not an identity
– Desire is not a mechanism
– Not only opposites attract
– I am a mess of desire(s)
