“Embodiment” is a media art exhibition that explores human agency and biological resonance in the age of generative AI. The exhibition is based on empirical research conducted as part of the author’s doctoral studies at Tampere University, as well as the artefacts developed through this research. At the core of the exhibition is an interactive installation that, through engagement with the viewer’s physical presence and physiological processes (heartbeat and breathing cycles), generates new forms of synthetic life. Within this continuous feedback loop, the viewer is invited to establish an embodied connection with the non-human “Other” and become an intimate part of a responsive, “living” system. The opening programme will include an Artist Talk and a demonstration of RIXC augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) artworks (more information to follow).
Curator: Raitis Šmits
Exhibition opening: May 28, 2026, at 18.00.
