We invite you to join in-museum talks at the exhibition “Obsession: 50 Years of Italian Ceramics” with the curators: Claudia Casali, Director of the Faenza International Ceramics Museum, Aivars Baranovs and Valentīns Petjko from the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Ceramics, and Dace Ļaviņa, curator of the porcelain and ceramics collection at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design. Discover the works on display and learn about their creation and the stories behind them.

The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design is the largest collection of professional decorative art and design in Latvia. Its mission is to preserve, research, and promote Latvian decorative art and design while serving as a platform for creative exchange between designers and the public. The museum organises exhibitions and educational programmes that explore the history, present, and future of design, encouraging discussion and creative thinking. MDAD collaborates with local and international partners to realise interdisciplinary and experimental projects reflecting current trends in art, fashion, and design.
Admission ticket to the exhibition according to the museum’s price list. For annual pass holders, participation in the event is free of charge.
